Flex your programming muscles in Yandex.Algorithm, an annual international programming championship organised by Yandex, one of the largest internet companies in Europe and Russia’s leading search provider.
Anyone over 18 – regardless of education, profession or programming style – has a chance of reaching the finals and winning up to the equivalent of $4,500, while participation in the preliminary rounds is also open to younger competitors from age 6. The top 512 participants according to the cumulative result of all three elimination stage rounds will receive a contest T-shirt.
The warm-up round takes place online on May 10, starting at 21:00 Moscow time (UTC+3). It is followed by the qualification round, which takes place online on May 21 starting at 00:00 Moscow time (UTC+3), and running for 48 hours. To qualify for the elimination stage rounds you need to solve at least one problem in the warm-up or qualification rounds. The top 25 competitors after the elimination rounds advance to the finals in Minsk, Belarus.

We gladly invite you to participate in the Three Subregionals Cup 2015 – a team-based online programming competition parallel to the ACM ICPC Subregionals in Moscow, Minsk and St. Petersburg. The tournament will be organized by the team of Yandex.Contest and the jury of the Subregionals. The online rounds will be held on the Yandex.Contest system. The dates and start times of subregionals are: Moscow – October 18, 12:00 MSK, Saint Petersburg – October 24, 13:00 MSK, Minsk – November 04, 18:00 MSK.
Teams that participate in the onsite version of one of the three quarterfinals will be able to participate in the online versions of the other quarterfinals via Yandex.Contest. Teams that don’t participate in any of the three quarterfinals onsite will be able to participate in all of them online via Yandex.Contest. Cumulated results of three subregional contests will be calculated based on Grand Prix 30 scoring system.
You can register for the online rounds at any time. You can represent a single person or create a team using the teams link. Each invited team member has to confirm his participation in the team. You can choose participation type and team members upon registering for the contest.
The rules of the online rounds correspond to the onsite quarterfinal’s rules.
